Steve’s Reasons Why The Ogio Golf Bag Was Perfect For His Set
When I began golfing, any bag would do to hold my clubs. The main reason being I was starting out and had a big mix of cheap clubs that I used to learn, so needed something quick and cheap. I collected a nicer set of clubs, worthy of showing other golfers, as my game improved. I needed a new bag that would be able to comfortably fit everything while also be easy on me as I carried it on the golf course. I looked through the options and found two options I liked. Mainly they were the Ogio golf bags as well as the ones offered by Callaway.
The clubs you would find in my old bag were mainly Callaway clubs, including the Callaway Big Bertha Driver. The reason for so many of this brand is because it is available at the local Golf town and is highly recommended from online sources that I’ve been reading. There were a couple of other brands like Nike, Taylormade and Cleveland Golf in my mix. My putter stayed as my original Wilson putter, since I really didnt think a quality putter would make a big difference. So my requirement was fit these plus have some compartments my cell phone and keys.
The Ogio bag came in a range of varieties including one that had a 14 divider section in it. These would be perfect for my mix of regular and hybrid golf clubs, as I could separate them out by types. Callaway also offered many options, but I liked the color choice and weight of the Ogio brand. The colors I found were more plain colors like red and black to something more unique with a plaid mix. After my purchase, I tried the bag out for comfort and fitment. It felt great on the course and all of my clubs fit perfectly without being cluttered. It was very easy to keep things organized and enjoy what I wanted to do – play golf. Any bag will pretty much work, but I found the one I liked. If you are getting one that will be driven on a cart always, then weight may not be a concern for you like it was for me. In the case that I start driving around in a cart, I can always upgrade to a sturdier bag if needed.
