Sam Hutsby stakes Walker Cup place claim by reaching final of Spanish Mens Amateur Open Golf Championship

England’s Sam Hutsby, the R&A World Golf Ranking Number 17, reached the semi-fnals of the 2009 Spanish Mens Amateur Golf Open Championship at Royal Seville Golf Club earlier today following victories against fellow countryman Matthew Haines and French Mens Amateur Golf Internationalist V Dubuisson, who beat England’s Eddie Pepperell by 4&3 in the last eight.
