    i think thats pretty poor. You should always try to follow through on chip shots, thats how to generate nice back spin.

    You are not trying to create backspin when you chip. The chip is a shot with 1/3 air and 2/3 roll. To chip a ball with distance control you want the golf ball to roll like a putt once it hits the green.

    there is no way to gauge a chip shot with no follow through. you dont dig your club into the ground that’s how you skull it

    lol r u serious?.. a lot of chips u want backspin to stop on the green near the hole

    ok listen on a chip i find it alot better to get air instead of what you did and with air you have to get under the ball and a follow thru and with practice you can have backspin but you have to have loft in your chip!!!
